![]() ![]() Great game, and only about 20 mins to play.ĭominion is also popular with us as it is simple to learn, but each game is different. At the end, you count up your open spaces and subtract that from your coin amount. If it's just you guys, I would recommend Patchwork, which is a fun 2 player in which you compete to fill up your board with fabric, a la Teris style. What number of player games are you looking for? I'm not OP, but my husband and I have a collection going. Would the expansion help these issues at all? I really want the expansion so I can enjoy the game more, but I don't want to pour additional money into my least favorite game if it won't fix the issues I have with it. Ultimately it seems the person who tells the truth consistently (or at least predominantly) usually ends up as the winner. The only time bribing ever comes up in my games is paying maybe a coin or two to get a sheriff to open someone else's bag, and that's usually just for some random fun/chaos. It seems you either 1) bribe no matter what, in which case you often lose money even though you weren't lying and only had legal goods, or 2) you bribe when you are lying, in which case the sheriff knows you're lying and will open your bag, causing you to lose even more.Ĭould anyone explain to me why you'd ever even bribe? Like I said I enjoy the idea, I just don't see the logic to it. Maybe it's the group that I play with, but there seems to be hardly any reason to bribe. I love the idea of this game, but it's unfortunately probably my least favorite game that I own. ![]() r/tabletopgamedesign - Designer's subreddit.r/boardgameexchange - selling/buying/trading games.Game of the Week Calendar Related Sites & Subreddits ![]() The simplest use is to bold game names in your comment and add " /u/r2d8 getinfo" at the end of the post, but this post/sub has other features identified.
